An important part of owning a dog is making sure they get enough exercise. The right amount of exercise, along with the right nutrition, can help your dog live a long and healthy life.
The general rule for most dog breeds is that they should have at least thirty minutes of exercise every day to help minimize behavioral problems and to help enrich their lives. Some active breeds, such as border collies and herding dogs, may need as much as two hours of exercise every day!
Our services are great for people who:
- Want to relax and play with their dog at the end of their busy day rather than rushing home from work to fit in the 30-minute walk that their dog deserves
- Work long shifts and cannot get home during the day to let the dog out for relief
- Are physically unable to walk for 30 minutes each day
- Keep unpredictable schedules, and want to provide a regular exercise routine for their dogs
- Are traveling with their dog in Portland, and need someone to take him out during the day while they are sightseeing
- Simply do not like the hassle of getting soaked by our notoriously rainy Portland weather while walking their dog!
We offer 3 fully customizable walk options:
Standard Walk
Express Walk
A 15-minute walk, used primarily to provide relief, a short stint of exercise, and some fresh air.
Perfect for puppies and older dogs.
Extended Walk
- A full 60-minute walk for your high-energy dog!
- Ideal for helping to prevent behavioral problems and to enrich the lives of energetic dogs.
