Having a professional pet sitter helps protect your house from burglary by giving it a "lived in" look.  In addition to caring for your pets, the following services are included with our pet sitting services, according to your preferences:

  • Alternating Lights
  • Alternating Blinds/Curtains
  • Mail/Newspaper Retrieval
  • Watering plants
  • Setting out and bringing in garbage and recycling

Below is a list of just some of the reasons why we are the pet sitter of choice for Portland pets:

  • We are Fully Bonded and Insured
  • We are Certified in Pet CPR and First Aid (Renewed annually even though certification does not expire)
  • We are Accredited Pet Sitters through Pet Sitters International (PSI), which fewer than 1 percent of PSI-member pet sitters nationally have attained
  • We are experienced in administering Oral Medications, Injections, Sub-Q Fluids, Ears, Eyes, and Topicals, and we don't charge extra for it!
  • We partner with both your preferred vet and your nearest emergency animal hospital to provide emergency care, when needed
  • We use only 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable pet clean-up bags (Did you know that plastic bags take 1,000 years to decompose?)
  • We drive unmarked cars to protect your home's security
  • We are former Volunteers with Virginia Woof Dog Daycare
  • We are former Volunteer Dog Walkers for The Pixie Project
  • We are former Volunteer Shelter Caregivers for Cat Adoption Team

Many people wonder why they cannot just leave their cat at home for a few days with ample food and water.  Below are just a few of the reasons:

  • Cat's claws may get caught in carpet or upholstered furniture
  • Cat may unintentionally trap itself in a room without food, water, or litter
  • Cat may become ill or injured
  • Heat or air conditioning may fail, causing the cat to be subjected to dangerous temperatures
  • Cats can ingest string, toys, pill bottles or other such items, which may require immediate veterinary care
  • Cats who stop eating for more than 48 hours can go into liver failure, which requires immediate veterinary care
  • Cats may develop diarrhea, which, if left unattended while the owner is away, can make a real mess!

We have an extensive list of references available upon request.  Check out our Testimonials page to see a sampling of them!
